You’ve probably noticed your grocery bill getting more expensive but having less to show for it.

In addition to that, the most important food group (at least to us), coffee prices have been surging as well. (The horror!)

As the input costs for producing the beloved bean drink have been surging – coffee might become the the “toilet paper” hoarding of 2022-23.

Unlike coffee prices surging (bad), Canadian banks have seen a surge in profits due to rising interest rates (good, for the banks at least, not so much borrowers).

The big Canadian banks have been raking it in earning more than expected forecasts.
