People either love or hate Elon Musk, the eccentric CEO of Tesla and SpaceX.

He turned heads back in March 2021 when he announced Tesla would start accepting Bitcoin as payment for their electric vehicles.

However, they have quickly changed their minds and now has stopped accepting Bitcoin as a payment method for their vehicles.

Citing the increase in use of fossil fuels (e.g. coal) to mine Bitcoin as the main reason for suspending their acceptance of Bitcoin.
